Manaslu Region is situated in the west-central part of Nepal and is recently getting famous among trekkers. Manaslu region consists of Manaslu Mountain which is the eight highest mountains in the world with the height of 8,156m. It was declared as Manaslu Conservation Area by Nepal Government in December 1998 to conserve natural resources, cultural heritage, and wildlife. The main motive was to promote eco tourism to develop livelihood of the local people. Manaslu region offers a range of trekking option to the travelers. Some of them are Manaslu Circuit trek, Manaslu Lower Eco Trek and Tsum Valley Trek.
